The Front Door to Rice University is a gateway to the other gopher servers on campus. The aim is to provide a stable platform for access to Rice University while servers lower down on the chain can make changes as they please. The currently pointed-to servers include a software library, the Rice Campus Wide Information System, the Signal Processing Information Base, and the Research Administration Gopher.
